Just You Wait!

I'm a so excited!

First: I will be traveling to Ohio to ProvoCraft's Circle Event there, where they will be showing off the exciting items they will release at CHA this week!

Second: While in Ohio, I will get to meet some of my online friends and I can't wait! This is going to be a great weekend.

Third: I am finishing up my projects that I will be taking with me to Ohio, so I will be autoscheduling them soon.

Do you want some temptation?

Okay - (not necessarily in this order) My pennant entry for the Ohio Roadtrip contest; My Calling Cards; My magnets < both for the swaps at Ohio; plus my container for the magnets.

If everything works properly, I hope to finish another project before I leave, but I'll play that by ear.

Also, I will be posting pictures at some points of all the fun stuff there. Unless we are told we can't show pictures yet, I plan to get them up on Saturday(maybe even Friday night). And cross your fingers, because we are supposed to get to do a Make-n-Take with the second quarter Circle cartridge, so I plan to post pictures for that as well!

Stay tuned for more!

An ABC Swap Angel

I was fortunate to participate in an ABC swap as an angel. What does that mean? Well, I was too late to sign up for the actualy swap, so when a few people weren't able to fulfill their obligation, a call was posted for "angels" to take their places. I was able to sign up for the letter "G" and I am doing a Goldfish. The swap is for a child's ABC book of letters with matching pictures. I had to quickly create 26 identical layouts for my letter.

These are 6x6 pages on white cardstock. I had a mottled aqua-blue cardstock that I used to make the fishbowl, and orange/gold paper for the goldfish and lettering. The fishbowl and godlfish is from the Animal Kingdom cartridge. The large "G" with black shadowing is from the Micket Font cartridge and the "Goldfish" word is from Printing 101 cartridge.
I also used clear Skittles for the bubbles and inked the fishbowl esges with CTMH Denim inkpad. I outlined the fish with a black pen.

Thanks for looking. I hope you enjoyed it.

Thank You Card

This is a Thank You card for a special friend. They invited us away on vacation for a week and we took them up on their offer. It was a wonderfully relaxing time.

The stamps and ink are from Close To My Heart (CTMH), the flowers arePrima, with Stickles for the centers. For the "thank you" I stamped it in green ink and decided it wasn't popping enough, so I went over it in orange with a gel pen from Sakura. That was the perfect touch.
